TW: suicide, drugs It's 2023 almost to 2024. Years going by and adding up, the generations in kpop also adds up. A 1st gen (generation) idol from the group g.o.d debuted at the age of 30, he debuted when he was an adult man. But now you see in 4th gen, a member from newjeans named Hyein which is also the maknea (youngest) of the group debuted as an idol by the age of 14, and started working as a model and youtuber at the age of 8 :D. She was that youngg!! Now we're already in 5th gen and some companies are training idols that was born before 2011, meaning the youngest member of a group could be 13 years old!! Some would wonder as to why is it such a problematic thing? The problematic part is that the kpop industry is such a scary place to be. Idols have committed suicide and do drugs because of the stress from being an idol. Not to mention, the crazy beauty standards of the kpop industry.
